CURRENT FUNCTIONS AND DISTINGUISHED CAREER

Mr. Obed Tshilomboji Muyumbe is an international visionary leader and a high dignitary of the Democratic Republic of Congo, recognized for his strategic expertise and his commitment to universal peace and sustainable development.

He holds the position of Founder and President of the Obed Tshilomboji Muyumbe Foundation (FOTM WORLD), an organization dedicated to promoting peace, justice, and decent work around the world. In this capacity, he is also the President of the “FOTM Peace, Justice and Labor” Association, an entity legally registered in France (SIRET W641014534) which orchestrates the Foundation’s humanitarian and diplomatic actions from Europe.

His influence and strategic counsel have been sought at the highest level, as he served as an Advisor to the President of the DRC, Félix-Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO, and Chairman of ECCAS and SADC from 2022 to 2023. In this role, he contributed significantly to the development of peace and security policies and to the strengthening of diplomatic cooperation in the region.

Alongside his diplomatic and foundational commitments, Mr. Tshilomboji Muyumbe is an accomplished entrepreneur, holding the positions of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the companies OTM SARLU, SPILL CONGO SARL and SPILL AFRICA SARL. There, he leads innovative initiatives in the fields of distribution, innovative ecological technologies, responsible mining, and environmental and health management.

His ongoing tetralogy, "Cœur de Kinshasa" (Heart of Kinshasa), embodies this commitment by offering a profound and sensitive literary tribute to the Congolese capital, its history, and the soul of its people.

His unique background, forged between the challenges of the African continent and the arenas of international diplomacy, gives him a rich perspective and an intimate understanding of the human and cultural issues he explores in his publications.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

He has a solid academic background, including an in-progress Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), an advanced diploma in Project Management from INTOWEB, South Africa, Supply Chain Management, and specialized trainings from prestigious institutions such as MIT & HARVARD OpenCourseWare (USA) and the Mines Health & Safety Administration, MSHA (Morenci, Arizona, USA).

He is fluent in English and French, and has a professional knowledge of several Congolese national languages, including Lingala, Swahili and Tshiluba.
