Terms of Service for the "Cœur de Kinshasa" Triple Vernissage & Gala Dinner

1. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming your attendance, purchasing a sponsorship package, or otherwise participating in the “Cœur de Kinshasa” event on February 20, 2026 in Kinshasa or March 28, 2026 in Lubumbashi, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Event Description
The event is an elite triple vernissage and gala dinner for the launch of the “Cœur de Kinshasa” tetralogy, focusing on Culture, Environment, and social engagement. It is strictly by invitation or confirmed registration only.

 

3. Registration and Attendance

  • Invitations: Attendance is limited to 500 pre-selected VIP guests. An invitation is personal and non-transferable without prior written authorization from the Organizing Committee.

  • Sponsorship: Sponsorship packages are subject to the conditions outlined in the sponsorship contract. Benefits are as described in the Concept Note and Terms of Reference.

  • Conduct: All guests are expected to conduct themselves professionally. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person deemed to be disruptive.

4. Intellectual Property
All content presented at the event, including but not limited to literary works (“Cœur de Kinshasa”), artistic performances, presentations, and branded materials, is the intellectual property of the event organizers or their partners and is protected by copyright and other laws. No recording, reproduction, or distribution of this content is permitted without prior written consent.

5. Limitation of Liability
The Organizing Committee, including the Project Holder and its partners, shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by guests in connection with their travel to, attendance at, or departure from the event, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

6. Force Majeure
The Organizing Committee shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, pandemics, or other major disruptive events.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kinshasa.

8. Amendments
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Notice of any changes will be communicated to registered participants.
